I suppose that the colour of the iris is really up for some differerence of opinion. Hazel eyes are typically more a shade of "brown" moreso than blue or green.
Your description sounds more like you have, indeed, a mix of bluish/green eyes (which by the way are quite gorgeous in my humble opinion ;)

I am the same. Hazel is what i would think, but others tell me, my eyes are blue, others say green....so take your pick.

Hazel eyes are browny green (hazel nuts which are browny green)
if your eyes are blueygreen they id say you had blueygreeny eyes or if they are more blue id say you have blue eyes/if they are more green id say you have green eyes.
I have hazel eyes they are made up of greens and browns but mine change depending on my mood sometimes they go really green and sometimes really dark so sometime people say i have green eyes or say i have brown eyes.
