Is it better to rinse your eyes with warm or cold water?
Say you got shampoo in your eyes, or you're nervous that you might have, so you rinse your eyes out at the end of your shower. Is warm or cold water better? Or does it not make a difference.

Thanks.

Warm. Because your less likely to automatically shut your eyes right away!

Hex the Fundies (JPAA)
I fail to see how it make any practical difference, so use whatever feels best.

lexi a
I like to do in between because if its too hot it will burn but if its too cold it will be very shocking and un comfortable.

Sam R
warm water would be better for rinsing out because it will maintain your temperature around the eyes.

undearian
it doesnt make a difference, just whichever you prefer... normally cold because its quicker!

Sudeep Holia than thou

Dr.Phil with Boobs
I don't think it makes a difference I have used both but I definitely think warm is more soothing.

Dad
if you hve anything in your eye warm water is better as is dissolves whatever it could be better and faster ... but cold water reduces the pain/shock (eg a sting), so it depends....
a cut onion will make you cry and bring anything out that may have got under the eyelids....
