I wear glasses and contacts.
If you have the summer off, then get contacts and teach yourself how to put them on.
If you dont like the contacts afterwards you can always switch back!

I hear that contacts are great and convinent, but talk to your optomitrist so you don't get a crap kinda that will seriously irritate your eyes :D |

I personally think that glasses are better. I know that it is awkward to have big things perched on your nose, but believe me, it's a LOT better.

Well for me i liked glasses better. WIth my contacts if i wore them for a long time they would get reallly dry. And with my glasses i never had that. If i were you i would sudgest lazer eye surgery. They fix your eyes so you dont need glasses or contacts you can see fine. |

i have been wearing glasses 2 for a while.and i think i would not look good in glasses. but if there something u think would look good on u then try them. my friend has contacts and she dosen't wear them that often but i think she likes them |

Get both. When I get tired of my glasses I wear my contacts and vice versa. It takes about a week to order contacts if they dont have them on hand.
It does take awhile to get used to wearing contacts. |

i wear contacts almost all the time, they are comfortable and not a hassle like glasses. about one to two weeks tops |

I usually get both. I like to give my eyes a rest from contacts sometimes, and sometimes I'm rushing and don't have time to put them in. They usually take about two weeks and the exam costs twice as much, but it's worth it for the convenience. |

Ive used glasses for about 2 years. About 2 months ago I began to use contacts. It took them about 2 weeks to get my contacts in.
I honestly like wearing my glasses better. My contacts can get annoying after a certain amount of time.
If you wear your contacts maybe 5 hours a day its fine. But if you wear them all day long, they become annoying. At least to me they do. |

go for contacts, if you dont like them you dont have to wear them, but its better for sports, and even just something like you can wear sunglasses, see when your swimming (wear goggles)... the only thing i dont like about contacts is that sometimes my eyes get dry
how long it takes depends on where you live and your doctor and such, but it should take a couple of weeks, maybe less
