Ok, My boyfriend said that he wants to french kiss me and I totally what him to?

The only thing is that I am woried I will get seriously sick like herpes, mono, or AIDS could any of these happen and which ones???...

Ian P	First of all, you cannot get AIDs from normal contact. AIDS is ONLY spread through blood and sexual transmission. I believe the same goes for herpes; however, if he did have herpes, you would know, it's very apparent! As far as mono goes, if he had it, then he wouldn't be kissing anyone any time soon, he'd be ill. Go ahead and kiss him, you'll be fine!

If he has a cold sore on his mouth you could catch herpes, but only the kind that gives you cold sores. You could get mono if he has it, but that is rare. Most likely, nothing will happen and the worst that will is you catch a cold if he has one. Kiss him.

starvans	okay, if you know anything about the AIDS virus, it is only spread throu sexual activity and sharing of blood, say drugs. but you can kiss someone on the lips or mouth and not get aids. but ask them what diseases they have or to get a doctor apointment and check. if they love you and want you they will.

If he has a fever blister on his lip, don't because you will get it but that will go away it won't cause real herpes. If he is HIV positive (Aids), you can only get it if he has had recent dental work. Judging by your question, I am guessing you are between the ages of 11 and 14. Your boyfriend should not have a risk of HIV at that age. It is safe to kiss him, but only do it if you really want too. I was 16 before I had my first french kiss, my other boyfriends wanted too, but I wouldn't let them because I didn't feel comfortable.

If you're genuinely worried, and if he has some kind of history, then tell him to get tested. It sounds like you may be very young. Be careful and do your research before going any further.

If he has a history of playing around with a lot of girls, there is a chance he's picked up something from one of them. AIDS is pretty darn unlikely, since it generally takes blood exposure -- so no biting.... Herpes or mono are more likely to be transmitted if he is infected. Mono is pretty contagious in close contact: if he's got it, you'd get it by sharing a drink, for example. If he doesn't currently seem sick, and hasn't been sharing drinks or kisses with other people in the last week or two, then it's pretty likely you're safe on that count though. Herpes -- well. If you're worried, you can ask him. If you've noticed cold sores on his lips, DEFINITELY ask.
