mrpeachycat	Besides the fact that it's socially unacceptable, there are germs in your nose that aren't found anywhere else in your body; cold viruses for example, that you will be spreading from your hands, to your face, to any surface you may touch. You can literally make yourself and others sick because when they touch those surfaces and then touch their own faces or eyes, they become infected. I'm not even talking about mucus, just germs. NSangel	why is it under diet? are you ingesting the contents? it's not good no, that stuff up there, should be put blown out, put in a kleenx and sent to the trash. it is fulla germs. if you pick you can cause nose bleeds too. and dryness..etc. not good. and if your going to pick, please somethings are best done in private. bm2xv	dude yes, I had a cold a couple of months ago and i would get mad boogers so id pick at them. that month i got so many nose bleeds that i assume is related. also, possibly unrelated, my nose is still pretty runny, now months later. my advice - try not to. You also scrape away some of the enzymes that help fight germs and bacteria while introducing potentially harmful germs and bacteria into your system. Carola W	VERY!!! not only gross, but the dirt on ur finger could get in ur nose and the rubbing could make it all red and/or u could get a scab inside ur nose then pick THAT and it could bleed and u'll keep getting nose bleeds AND no one will like u cause u'll be discarded as the gross-nosepicking-loser (well, thats MY prediction) Was this answer helpful to you?
