What will be easier to eat with braces?
I have the choice to have pizza or a fish sandwich with fries from Dairy Queen.
And i only got braces on my top teeth. What will be easier to eat? And wont really mess with my braces?
Additional Details
I got braces two days ago btw, so my teeth are still sore.

I would eat the fish, but take it off the bread and don't eat the crunchy parts. If you are really hurting, you can take a drink of ice water after each bite and swish it around in your mouth for a second (not too long, it will become warm and defeat the purpose). Neither food should really mess with your braces, but fish would be softer right now as well as soft fries rather than pizza. Good luck and it will get easier :)

I think you will have an easier time eating pizza. i know how it feels to have braces and the pizza should be easier to bite through. the sandwich would be thicker which would hurt more. to make it easier you could even cut up the pizza into bite size peices. also, take tylonel or orjel to help your teeth not ache so much! I FEEL FOR YOU!!!

avoid hard foods- like chips- for a while.

if i were you i would go for the pizza- its softer than the sandwich.

eat yogurt and cheese and pb+j sandwitches for a while- about day it wil be easier.

DO NOT eat chewy candies- THEY mess up your braces. no toffee or laffy taffy or any things like that.

there are thousands of wwebsites on braces and hw to care for your braces, so just Google it.

my husband just got his braces off after 2 years; he always got chicken strips or chicken nuggets, something he could actually have a chance at biting

Fish sandwich, definitely. One of the things that we tell kids NOT to eat with braces is hard edges of pizza. So, if you choose pizza, be really careful. Fries Should be okay except the extra crispy bits.

probably pizza but you might need to cut it into peices if your teeth hurt too bad

i think pizza would be easier to eat.
i found that sandwiches, especially just plain bread get stuck in your braces very easily.

neither will mess your braces up.
hope i helped =]

pizza. biting into the bread from the sandwhich would get the bread all in your braces. plus pizza will be less thick to bite into so it should be less painfull.

alex :]
Both have kinda the same consistency, soft and not so soft.
I'd say pizza
