Speak to a doctor. It could be anything from a few months to 60 years more. We cannot assess your mom's case.

My mother has had breast cancer twice and has beat it both times. She is cancer free now. Your mom's treatments will depend on the stage of the cancer. She may have surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation. Although it is very hard to have a parent who is ill, it is best to try to be supportive by just being there for her.

Depends on what stage the cancer is in and if it has spread to other organs. I had breast cancer 2 years ago, it was barely in stage 2 and mine is in remission and I am still here! Just because a person is diagnosed with breast cancer doesn't mean they are going to die! There will always be a chance that the cancer can come back, that is why I have a mammogram every 6 months and see my cancer Dr. every 6 months for the rest of my life. it also depends on the person and if they have the want to beat the cancer...I was determined I was not going to let it beat me! I have kids who still need me! Good luck to your mother and be strong for her!

As others have said, it depends. I really wish people would stop hearing breast cancer and thinking DEATH. Or for that matter hearing of any cancer and thinking that way. More and more cancers are like chronic diseases rather than fatal ones. Early diagnosis and treatment lead to cures or long remission times. And that is the truth, spoken by one who has done two rounds of breast cancer and has no intention of dying soon.

There is no way to answer that without knowing how large the tumor is, what type of tumor it is, whether or not is has spread to surrounding lymph nodes or other organs. If you are concerned, you can talk to your mother's doctor who should be willing to answer your questions. Best wishes.

It depends on the stage and type of your mother's cancer. Without knowing this, I can't give you an idea.

The next formula is only aid and considering of the time available of an oncological patient. It multiplies the remaining days according to the age of the person, by each one of the 5 important factors of risk, this mathematically would be:

Time of Life = F1 * F2 * F3 * F4 * F5.

F1 = Age

1 - 19 = 25000
20 - 39 = 15000
40 - 59 = 5000
60 - 79 = 3000
80 - 99 = 1000

F2 = Cancer Estage

0 = 1
A or 1 = 0.80
B or 2 = 0.70
C or 3= 0.60
D or 4 = 0.50

F3 = Life style

EXERCISE + GOOD NUTRITION + HEALTHY LIFE = 1
EXERCISE + GOOD NUTRITION = 0.80
SEDENTARY = 0.70
SEDENTARY + STRESS = 0.60
SEDENTARY + STRESS + BAD NUTRITION = 0.50

F4 = SANGUINEOUS GROUP

OTHERS 1
B (RH + Ó -) = 0.80
O (RH + Ó -) = 0.70
AB (RH + Ó -) = 0.60
A (RH + Ó -) = 0.50

F5 = FAMILIAR RISKS

0 FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 1
1 FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 0.80
BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 0.70
BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) TO DRINK ALCOHOL = 0.60
BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) TO DRINK ALCOHOL And TO SMOKE = 0.50
