Do you think you have to see an oncologist if?
I have non invasive cancer and atypical hyperplasia and I'm taking tamoxifen. Do you think I should be seeing an oncologist on a regular basis, and how often should I be seen or not seen?

it never hurts to go an have an initial evaluation from an oncologists. I have had cancer myself and I was seen by an Oncologist. This doctor told me that I would be fine by seeing another doctor. (not an Oncologist) However, she would continue to follow up w/ my doctor to make sure everything was okay and nothing new had come about. She has actually talked w/ my new doctor on several occasions and has given her opinion to him. Basically, it never hurts to have as many opinions as you want. It is your body and you have to do what is right for you. Good Luck!

TAMOXIFEN is the drug venerally administrated for non-cancerous brest abnormalities and atypical hyperplasia (Breast Cancer conditions). It seems you have not consulted a doctor to this. You should defenitely see an medical oncologist without any further delay and act as per his advise. Your visit to him aslo should be periodical say monthly once or so depending upoon the condition of disease you have.

Do not worry - it will be alright. Best of luck

absolutely! tamoxifen is used as a receptor blocker for breast cancer. I would see an oncologist because they are the specialist!

You need to see your oncologist, or OBG/YN - they can work together for better results.
