Ecstacy is dangerous by itself. Adding ANY other drugs to the mix makes it even more so. Why do you want to risk your life for a cheap high? It could be very costly! |

It's best not to take ecstasy. It seems you are coming off something to get into something else. Better just stay off all of these addictive things and remain sober to enjoy life to the fullest, in the best way. Life is short. |

yeah. dont take x and if you do stay away from xanax |

hahahahaha, it's bad to take ecstasy don't matter what it's with...I'm sure e's aren't very good for your anxious problems. |

Yes, very dangerous.
Drug combos are very bad and unpredictable.
Taking drugs to overcome nerves/shyness is called self-medication, and you are not knowledgeable about what you're taking. Even if the dangerous combinations of drugs don't get you, the feelings you are stuffing down will hit like a tsunami.
You don't have to go the event if it's that stressful. Take care of yourself and don't spend time with people who make you anxious. Look for friends you can trust and you won't be tempted to do dangerous stuff. |

What are the health hazards of using Ecstasy?
Many of the risks are similar to those found with the use of amphetamines and cocaine. Also, Ecstasy can interfere with its own metabolism (breakdown), so repeated use over a short interval of time can lead to especially harmful levels in the body.
Symptoms include:
Psychological difficulties, including confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, severe anxiety, and paranoia -- during and sometimes weeks after taking Ecstasy (psychotic episodes have also been reported).
Physical symptoms such as muscle tension, involuntary teeth clenching, nausea, blurred vision, rapid eye movement, faintness, and chills or sweating.
Marked increase in body temperature (hyperthermia), which may further be exacerbated by the hot and crowded conditions characteristic of the rave environment. Hyperthermia can lead to liver, kidney, and cardiovascular system failure.
Increases in heart rate and blood pressure, a special risk for people with circulatory or heart disease. Other cardiac effects include arrhythmia, heart muscle damage, and reductions in heart rate and blood pressure. (Initially, Ecstasy increases heart rate and blood pressure, but following repeated use, this effect is reversed.)
Ecstasy can affect the hormone that regulates the amount of sodium in the blood, which can also cause hyponatremia (water intoxication).
Chronic use of Ecstasy has been associated with memory impairment, which may indicate damage to the parts of the brain involved in memory processing.
Sometimes a rash that looks like acne will appear on the skin which has been linked with liver damage.
AND............
Xanax is a depressant, used primarily for short term relief of mild to moderate anxiety, nervous tension, acute stress, and panic attacks. This is because it is extremely addictive. They sometimes referred to as minor tranquilizers.
Do you want to mix these drugs???!!! |

Rachel, X is not "hip", it is a deadly drug that could lead to A.D.D. if it doesn't kill you first. Yes, it is used by "so many people", but so is Heroine. There is so much more to life than chemically induced coma, delusions, etc. Try just tuning in to life (that's what the "real" hippies used to do before the counter culture drifted off into the over-the-counter culture).
Forget either drug, and always be careful of drug interactions...especially when the interaction might be with the law (as in the case of illegal or illegally obtained drugs).
It just isn't worth the risk, either way. |

Drugs+geeks with swords=always a bad combo. |

both are bad for you individually, so you sure as hell dont wanna mix them. are you nuts? stay off the dope. |

Taking ex is bad enough and you want to add another drung to it? Are you crazy!?! Do you know what ex does to you? It literally makes holes in your brain! And if you even have to ask this question you obviously don't have enough brains left to spare. Sure, those drugs will help you get over your anxiety really quick. As in, when you die and are lying in the morgue you won't be anxious at all. |

of course you know that there r inherent dangers with taking illegal drugs such as X. not to be a party pooper, but be careful xanax slows your heart rate down and X can do the same (and it is known to speed up heart rates, such irregularities could cause your heart to overload. |

Probably not the best combination in the world. I wouldn't risk it. I think the only person who would really know would be a doctor. |

Do NOT do that unless you like being in a coma! Seriously, taking xanax to relax is one thing. However, using ecstasy is first of all dumb. There's no telling what the heck someone used to cut it. Secondly, you could have such a violent reaction that you will end up in the hospital (alive if you're lucky!).
Take care of yourself! |

I think it would be extremely DANGEROUS to take Xanax with Ecstacy. Xanax mixed with any kind of drug that it's not supposed to interact with can at the least make you very sick and the most in the ER. |

the only advice i have is to not take the x only the xanax if you are that unsure, and if you only need something for nervousness and anxiety |

Really really bad, honey. Two meds acting together is called toxic synergy and their effect is way magnified. Besides, ecstasy is a speed derivative (and God only knows what they are cutting it with these days) and would tend to cancel out the Xanax. If you have a prescription for the Xanax, stick with that. If not, stay clean and learn by exposure to overcome your anxiety. If you keep medicating yourself you will never learn to relax in these situations! |
|

 |
yes it would be very dangerous it could lead to a heart attack or worse the effects of both drugs working together could and will have very serious health issues
ecstasy has the opposite effect of xanax it makes you more nervous and could send you into a very serious panic attck |

Dont you just love the anti drug people...
I have done it, I have taken Xanax AFTER ecstasy a few hours later, as their is an irritating restlessness coming down for me.
The drugs you need to concern yourself with mixing e with are anti depressants, never mix those with e. |
