Wii Fit is an excellent way to burn calories and lose weight while having fun, you just have to move your body and start playing. Steps
- Choose a sport that you are most comfortable with.
- Complete the tutorial, it will help you when you start the actual work out.
- Start your game.
- Do all of the movements using all of your body, even though it is a video game, we are trying to burn as many calories as possible.
- Exercise for extended periods of time, until you break a sweat. At this point you know your burning calories.
- Try giving the sport your all, just as if you were in a work-out gym. This will get you heart beating and you will not only be working out your body, but your heart will get a good work out too.
- Start to wind down as soon as you start to feel tired. Exercise in a less vigorous manner and slowly end your work-out.
- Walk in place for about a minute before turning the game off. This will help your body and heart get back to it's usual pace.
Tips
- Use comfortable clothing when working out, i.e. gym shoes, loose clothing, breathable material.
- Stick to a plan, try 3 days a week at first and increase your workout as you feel comfortable.
- Always eat a snack about 1/2 hour before work out.

- Always consult a physician before beginning an exercise or diet regimen.
- Always wear wrist band if using wiimote.
- Play in a spacious area.
