Steps
- Wear the pendant around your neck all the time.
- During an emergency press the button.
- The central station will talk to you. Tell them what is wrong.
- They will send the paramedics if it is a medical emergency.
Tips
- Remain calm. The central station will probably be able to hear you if you speak loud enough and are inside your house. Even if they cannot hear you, but the alarm has been signaled they will send the paramedics.
Warnings
- Choose your medical alert provider carefully. Some will cut corners to make a profit. The lowest price does not mean the best monitoring station.
